We have a modern 3 bedroom plus study house set amongst lawns and garden in Ashburton, South Island, New Zealand. We require a house sitter for the period above. Ashburton is rural town with a population of 15,000 people. It is the centre of a very prosperous farming area and has a wide range of retail shops to cater for most tastes. It is located 1 hour away from the South Island's major city of Christchurch and only 20 minutes from the Mt Hutt Ski Field. There are numerous outdoor activities available, including river fishing, hiking, jet boating and mountain biking nearby - this is Lord of the Rings country! Autumn is a beautiful time to enjoy this part of the world. We have 3 very friendly cats needing care and attention in our absence. We have a car available for your use.
